I ordered the eggplant and minced pork and they always make it so delicious. My other go to dishes are the deep fried squids with pepper and salt, the green beans with minced pork, the Peking pork chops and the the minced chicken with lettuce wrap in large portions. The service is courteous and fast.

The food is excellent typical Chinese fare and very affordable. The menus include Soup, Rice and Desert. The service is adequate, do not go there for the Ambiance.

This is a local staple Cantonese style Chinese restaurant that's been around forever. In recent years, we typically order to go. Our all-time family favorites are the French steak and the house salt and pepper pork chops. Both are excellent and must haves! French steak is amazing, less well-known and highly recommended for anyone who likes beef. It's juicy, tender, and flavorful. Pork chops are locally famous, almost everyone knows and orders them. This time, we also ordered house special shrimps and Kung Pao Fresh Squid. They are both fine, I like the shrimps better. It's good that Squid was fresh but the Kong pao was a bit wet and not spicy. As shown in the pictures, the ambiance is fine, very traditional style Chinese restaurant, we'd prefer if they update a little over the last 30 years.

We went yesterday before the Super Bowl, my son reminded us that it's the first day of the Chinese New Year.. Made it a bit more special for us.. We went in the attempt to find a replacement for Seafood Port that had just recently closed..It had also been our go to for Chinese.. We got there at 1:00, the restaurant was packed yet no one waited to be seated, some 10 minutes later, still waiting but no with another 4 or 5 parties.. The folks working there were typical of what my experience has been, you feel a bit ignored, no one attempts to tell you anything, they're all just steadily moving about like worker bees..Assi mentioned, this has been my experience at many Chinese restaurants, Seafood Port was also like this..Just the way it is.. Once seated, our menus came a minute later, and the service from that point on was good..Now our mission other then for lunch, was to find a replacement for our now closed favorite, didn't know if this would be the place or not, yet this I can tell you, it was very good, we all enjoyed our samplings of 5 items, and of course plenty to take home.. I do have a few others we'll try, but this one just may be it.. All n all a 4 out of 5 Star

My family and I have ordered takeout multiple times over the past few years and the (very) generously portioned Cantonese dishes have been consistently solid. Some favorites include: Broccoli beef Eggplant with garlic sauce Fish filet with baby bok choy Frog leg with pepper & black bean sauce Chicken lo mein (aka Americanized chow mein)

Stumbles upon this place by chance during lunch time, it was busy but we got seated within less than 10 min. Interesting place, big menu, good lunch specials for an average of $10-15. Portions are good size, and were served pretty fast. They first bring you a cup of soup, I think it was tofu - I liked it but my friend didn't care for the texture. We ordered the Mongolian beef, bok choy and mushroom, pork with garlic and lo mein. Make sure to ask for white rice as well. Everything tasted really good, ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. The decor is plain and simple but if the food is good then that's not a factor for me. Overall everyone was quiet, polite and friendly. Lots of free parking in the attached lot in front.

One of the best value restaurants I have been to LA!! The food is amazing for the price, especially the lunch special. The beef loc and salt and pepper chicken are my go to every time. The green beans are also good too. The restaurant itself probably needs to be updated and remodeled, but the food is so good I can't complaint!

Sister restaurant to the Seafood Port that recently closed. Same menu, same tasty food, same great lunch specials. The interior is also the same, rather run down old booths and tables, scary restrooms, stuff sort of piled around everywhere and the same typical Chinese service, LOL. Come for the food, especially the lunch specials. They're authentic and legit.
